In collaboration with Dr. Patricia Espiritu Halagao, Ara served as Creative Director for the 2025 redesign of iJeepney.com, a Smithsonian-sponsored Filipino American curriculum platform originally launched in 2006. Nearly twenty years after its founding, the redesign brings renewed visual clarity and cultural intentionality to a resource that continues to serve students, educators, and communities advocating for Filipino representation in Hawaiʻi’s schools. The project is a personal and professional homecoming, sitting at the intersection of Ara’s design practice, her Filipino heritage, and her lifelong commitment to education.
